Garmin’s unbelievably popular Forerunner range of GPS watches has two new additions to entice both health fanatics as well as dieters looking for a new gadget to ease the pain of all the running that lies ahead.

The Forerunner 410 and Forerunner 210... "accurate and intuitive" according to the good folk at Garmin.

Both the Forerunner 410 and Forerunner 210 will be out before Christmas and while there’s no word on pricing, the GPS giants did at least release a good few details on the pair.

The Garmin Forerunner 410 has a new “touch bezel” for easier use while running, and comes with a new heart monitor strap. Adds the official press release, “The new touch bezel provides unmatched reliability in sweaty, rainy conditions, and it processes information even faster than before.

“When your workout’s done, Forerunner 410 keeps working by wirelessly uploading data to the Garmin Connect online training community when in range of your computer.”

As for the Garmin Forerunner 210,well, as Slashgear points, out that that’s a little less complex but will still come with customised interval sessions, heart rate alerts and – if paired with the wireless foot pod – running cadence information. It connects via USB and the battery is apparently good for up to eight hours solid GPS use.

Watch out for both later this year – for the full press release on their features click here.
