The latest gaming PC chassis from Cooler Master is set to go on sale next week and with an American price of a mere $60 (€47) it looks like it could be quite a bargain (though some reports say that the British price will be £65 so in all likelihood the euro price will be closer to 80 yoyos. Surprise, surprise eh).
Anyway, price gripes aside the newbie is called the HAF 912, and the case is a compact mid-tower design that has support for high-end video cards, larger CPU coolers, and dual 200mm fans.
Says Cooler Master, “No matter if you are looking for an affordable, no compromise gaming chassis or for a case with all the bells and whistles and great support for water cooling accessories: the HAF 912 is the ultimate model for you.”
It includes room for four 5.25-inch drives, six 3.5-inch internal drives and two 2.5-inch drives in its standard configuration but it can accept 3.5-inch drives and you also get a 3.5 to 2.5-inch adapter that accepts two more 2.5-inch drives.
It comes with USB 2.0 connectors and, of course, the necessary audio ports; with the 912 due for worldwide release on 14 September. Anybody tempted?
