The collected brains at Asus Towers must be working overtime as barely a day goes past without them announcing a new product, and today they’ve decided to announce a shedload all at once.
The company has just revealed that seven brand new all-in-one-PCs – all part of the ET2400 series – will be hitting the market in the very near future.
According to Asus, the ET2400 series “combines the computing capabilities of the Super Hybrid Engine and the audio prowess of the ASUS SonicMaster Technology” (which for the uninitiated is a hardware and software combo that minimises distortions in order to enhance sound clarity). All of which comes with a 23.6-inch full HD widescreen monitor as well.
The pick of the bunch is the ET2400XVT, which features a 1.73GHz quad core Intel Core i7 CPU, while it also boasts a 120Hz 3D panel. Beyond the XVT, most models are quite similar though as SlashGear notes, it’s in the processors that the main differences lie.
They range from dual-core Pentium and AMD Athlon II X2 systems, all the way up to Intel Core i3 and i5 CPUs. Storage capacities come in 7,200RPM 320GB, 500GB, or 1TB models, while all models share 2GB of RAM.
Options with certain models mean you can add TV tuners, Blu-ray drives, NVIDIA 3D Vision (on the ET2400XVT) and HDMI outputs. Just so ya know, the other models are the ET2400I, ET2400E, ET2400A, ET2400EGT, ET2400INT and ET2400AGT.
Price and release dates are unconfirmed (this is Asus after all) but hopefully we’ll see them round these parts in early winter.
