Samsung has said today that its Q Series notebooks – including the Q530, Q430 and Q330 – will reach in most international markets by end of this month.
The company gives the usual line of this series of notebooks offering “powerful features without compromising on the aesthetics”, though there does seem to be substance behind the hyperbole this time.
The top-of-the-line Q530 features a 15.6-inch LED backlit screen with 16:9 aspect ratio, Core i5 or i3 CPU options, GeForce GT330M 1GB DDR3 GPU, Wi-Fi with ad-hoc Wi-Fi connection support that can transfer files between two Wi-Fi-enabled devices, Bluetooth 3.0, DLNA, webcam, optical drive, card reader, USB/HDMI ports and battery life up to seven hours with Samsung’s extended battery life (EBL) mechanism.
Tech Ticker notes that the next in the line – the Q430 – is more or less the same as Q530 with the exception being its screen size, which measures 14-inches.
Finally, it’s the Q330, a lightweight 13.3-inch notebook. The Q330 is also powered by Intel’s Core range of processors and comes with NVIDIA GeForce 310M GPU that supports hybrid graphic feature.
Some nice features, however price wise there’s not much info out there at the minute. There are rumours the Q430 will go for around €820 though. Anyone tempted?
